DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix)
Created by Dame Darcey Bussell, judge on BBC Strictly Come Dancing and ex Professional Ballerina, the aim of DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix) is to get people moving without being intimidated by the word ‘dance’ or the technicality of the steps, but instead to give a full body workout that is such fun that you don’t even notice that you are exercising. With the vast number of dance styles around the world to choose from, no one will ever get bored!
Each 2 to 3 minute routine is a style or genre of dance from around the world and through the ages. These range from Arabic to Bollywood, Hoedown to Rock & Roll and Disco to Charleston! Emma runs 2 classes per week; Wednesday mornings at The Old Girls School and Community Centre, Kirkgate, Sherburn in Elmet (9:30 – 10:30 am) and Thursday evenings at MY Fitness and Martial Arts, Unit 5, Copley Enterprise Park, Tadcaster, LS24 9NG (7 – 8pm).
You don’t have to be a professional dancer to join in this class, all you need is lots of enthusiasm, a pair of trainers and a bottle of water. To book onto Emma’s class contact her on 07743101255 or email@example.com.
Classes are £5 per person per session payable in cash pay as you go. 8th class is free
