Carl Cockcroft Swim School is an affiliated Swim England Swim School following The Swim England Plan to progress children in the water in a fun and structured class.
Established by former Great Britain swimmer, Head Coach at Selby Tiger Sharks and part of the national mentoring programme for coaching for Swim England, Carl Cockcroft. Carl personally teaches many of our classes himself alongside our wonderful team who have a proven track record of progressing children in the pool.
We are really pleased to announce the repeat of our Easter Intensive Swimming Course this year at Queen Margaret’s School in Escrick. The course begins week commencing the 7th of April Monday to Friday morning classes each day and will be taught by Carl Cockcroft alongside our Level 2 Teacher Annie-Kate. Our Intensive Courses are an excellent opportunity and introduction to our term time lessons where we concentrate on independent swimming and techniques. The course is suitable for children ages 4 and upwards and for all levels of swimmer from beginner to advanced. All classes are taught in the pool with children as our preferred method of teaching for progression.
The venue pool is a full 25m pool with a shallow and deep end and diving blocks of which we have exclusive use of during the course. There is free parking, all equipment is provided and you can watch the classes poolside during your child’s lesson.
As well as our Intensive Swimming Courses we are also able to offer term time swimming lessons at a number of venues in and around York and Hull.
