Just Drama is here to engage, enthuse and inspire those who participate in any Just Drama activities, including:
We focus on introducing and developing the drama knowledge and drama skills of young and older people; in doing so their self-confidence will grow as will their viewpoint, opinions and understanding of themselves and other people in the community and the world, making them effective communicators. The focus for youngsters is fun drama activities that encourage listening, movement, communication, decision making and role-play. Older children and teenagers work on a similar premise although greater focus will be on acting skills and experimentation with different drama styles and form. For older adults, Just Drama offers the opportunity to get to grips with a playwright and play-text and bring the page to the stage. All sessions are led by me, Louise Record, fully qualified teacher, DBS checked and a PGCE in Drama and a BA with Honours in Dramaturgy (the art of theatrical production and the theory of dramatics)
Fun drama sessions every Monday from 5.30pm – 6.30pm (age 7 – 11 yrs)

‘My daughter has attended Sally Corbally‘s dance classes in Riccall for a while now and really enjoys them. She does ballet and tap and gets to take part in a big show every couple of years, would highly recommend the classes for children of all abilities.’

‘At three years old our daughter joined Sally Corbally’s School of Dance. She absolutely loved to sing and dance and Sally came highly recommend. Two years later her love of dancing has continued to grow which is down to the excellent teaching of Sally and her dance teachers. Sally really has given our daughter a chance to shine, taking part in her first dance show this May and completing her bronze award in tap and ballet this July. There is a real focus on enjoyment for dance in the sessions and our daughters confidence has improved greatly as well as her technique. I would wholeheartedly recommend Sally Corbally’s school of dance to any parent whose child has an interest in dance and performing. ‘

PQA is a weekend performing arts Academy providing tuition for children and young people from 4-18 years. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers.
By working with outstanding people we provide our students with a constantly evolving experience that is fresh, exciting and contemporary. We instil the benefits of the performing arts into a new generation of young people, helping them to realise their potential, grow as individuals and become the people they want to be as they learn skills valuable for everyday life, not just the performing arts.
PQA’s specialist modules, packed full of tips that Pauline has learnt from nearly 50 years in the business, will teach young people everything they need to know to act, sing, dance or direct like a professional.
Above all, we encourage our students to be amazing, just by being themselves.
