At award winning ARTventurers we run colourful, creative (often messy!) art, craft and creative play sessions for babies, toddlers and children as well as holiday classes and workshops, fantastic creative birthday parties, after school clubs and other events for children of all ages.

LIVE MUSICIANS – Throughout your little one’s Baby Band journey we will provide them with a range of live musicians to listen to, play and sing along with, and ultimately be inspired to become one themselves.
CHANGING GENRES – Yes, babies and toddlers are the central focus to our classes but the musical skills taught are done so through regularly changing genres of music that, as adults, you will love.
REAL INSTRUMENTS ONLY – children use their fine motor skills to explore the instruments, manipulate them and take responsibility for tidying them up (a familiar routine of our classes that the children absolutely love!)
RELAXED AND WELCOMING – whatever your little people want to do goes for your 45 minute session. As your little one engages with the instruments in the way they choose to, you have time to make life-long friendships during our dedicated chatting songs.
EVENTS – Baby Band provides incredible live events, including a huge summer festival, and school holiday pop ups that the whole family can enjoy. And of course you can book your little one a Baby Band party that includes a free gift!

Blaze trails offer free baby-carrying, pushchair friendly and toddler friendly organised walks. It’s a great opportunity to get outside and meet like-minded parents. We try to offer weekly walks in a number of locations across the North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire region. We walk in most weather as long as we have the right kit and our babies are happy, it’s good to get out!
Parents, carers, grandparents and expectant parents are all welcome to join any walk.
The walk organisers are parents themselves so understand the challenges of an unexpected nappy change or feed. The walks are baby friendly so you just need to shout up and we will all stop together!

Bubwith Tennis Club is a friendly, village tennis club near to the East Yorkshire/North Yorkshire border. Set in the grounds of Bubwith Leisure and Sports Centre, the club has three artificial grass courts which offer tennis throughout the year.
Whether you are just starting out with the sport, or if you have been playing tennis for years, you will be made to feel welcome at Bubwith.
Families can take advantage of a great value membership option, which is available from couples up to large families without limit. Whereas children of primary school age and their parents/guardians (if they only wish to play tennis with their children) can join free of charge. There is also a low-cost junior member option.
Members can make us of the club’s supply of tennis rackets (various sizes) and tennis balls, including balls specifically for younger players. Coaching is available for children starting at the age of 4 and there are often tennis camps for juniors during school holidays (there is an additional charge for coaching and camps).
For adults, there is the opportunity to play competitive league tennis with mixed, men’s and ladies’ doubles teams featuring in the York leagues at various levels. There are also various events promoting social play.
Whilst it is predominantly a members’ club, there is the facility for non-members to use the club’s West Court for a small fee.
There is a car park on-site, with a children’s play area next to the courts. The small clubhouse provides toilet facilities.

Drama Kids and DK Youth Theatre classes nurture ALL children to help them achieve their potential. Our unique Development Through Drama programme increases children’s Confidence, Social Skills and Creativity and boosts Self-Esteem.
Hour-long classes include a new improvisation or script every week. Performance on stage in July with each child is fully involved in the whole piece.

Price Freeze: The MBCD team care greatly about each and every family that joins them, understanding the rise in cost of living and the recent pandemic, they are freezing prices for the foreseeable future and haven’t increased the cost of their classes since September 2017.
Class Flexibility: The MBCD team understand that some parents and carers work shifts, or that from time to time something can come up that prevents families attending class. While classes cannot be rolled over and deducted from next term, they offer super flexibility by enabling classes to be reclaimed by attending any other class in the same week, or alternatively the class can be gifted to a friend or family member. Shift workers are accommodated by having classes on 4 days of the week for toddlers and 3 days per week for babies. Parents can switch between classes according to the shift pattern week by week.

‘At three years old our daughter joined Sally Corbally’s School of Dance. She absolutely loved to sing and dance and Sally came highly recommend. Two years later her love of dancing has continued to grow which is down to the excellent teaching of Sally and her dance teachers. Sally really has given our daughter a chance to shine, taking part in her first dance show this May and completing her bronze award in tap and ballet this July. There is a real focus on enjoyment for dance in the sessions and our daughters confidence has improved greatly as well as her technique. Students spend three hours with us, rotating through hour-long sessions in Comedy & Drama, Musical Theatre and Film & Television. Students are split into groups according to their age and are taught by specialist teachers.
By working with outstanding people we provide our students with a constantly evolving experience that is fresh, exciting and contemporary. We instil the benefits of the performing arts into a new generation of young people, helping them to realise their potential, grow as individuals and become the people they want to be as they learn skills valuable for everyday life, not just the performing arts.

Water Babies is the world’s leading Baby and Toddler swim school, swimming over 50,000 babies per week.
We’ll teach you to teach your little one to swim, from lesson one we’ll get your little one used to the sensation of water, developing their natural instincts and transforming these into core aquatic skills. We’re ‘Making Waves’ in North Yorkshire and we’re looking for movers and shakers to be a part of this exciting new initiative.
Join local choreographers for a 3 day intensive to make a performance work for an event in which you will perform alongside professional dancers and other local groups. The sessions will include movement classes, learning choreography and working creatively. This is a collaborative project and a chance to work in a new way to develop movement skills and individual artistry.
Open to all young people 11yrs+ whether they are already a keen dancer or a passionate movers looking to get into dance.
